Discovery Sunday Evangelism
Protestants have been using 'Friend Day' evangelism effectively for many years. Below is an adaptation for Orthodox parishes that utilizes the same concept but with some modifications since emotion and entertainment is not the foundation of Orthodox worship. Because so few know about Orthodoxy the name 'Discovery Sunday' is suggested. And, while Protestants usually do this once a year, Orthodox churches might consider this twice as a lead in to the start of 'Inquirer Classes' in the fall and winter (September and January after Theophany).
