Orthodox Worship Practices
Orthodox worship is what led the Russian (then Kievian) nation to choose it over Catholicism and Islam...
"‘We knew not whether we were in heaven or on earth, for surely there is no such splendour or beauty anywhere upon earth. We cannot describe it to you: only this we know, that God dwells there among men, and that their service surpasses the worship of all other places. For we cannot forget that beauty."

Just as it is beautiful, it can also be confusing and seemingly complex. But, everything that is done has roots firmly in the Tradition of the Church and is designed to sanctify (i.e. gain the Grace of the Holy Spirit) the individual to prepare him for eternity.
A variety of practices and worship services will be explored in this section with new additions from time to time.
